The pirogue challenge and tasting on the shores of Lake Chalain on 15/07; 22/07; 29/07; 12/08; 19/08 from 5pm to 7pm
Come and discover the Neolithic boats of Lake Chalain, the monoxyle dugout canoe, its history and its use thanks to a fun workshop! Participants will learn about the pirogue, its history, how it was made and how it was used. Then, divided into teams, they will have to try to float and move forward a miniature replica of the Chalain monoxyle pirogue with its load without sinking it! At the end of each activity, there will be an aperitif and tasting session based on what people ate in the Neolithic period.
FREE by prior arrangement for accompanied children aged 7 and over; led by Nicolas and Emilie from Unis Vers Nature and organised by the Jura department's culture and heritage service.
Orienteering on 16/07, 23/07, 30/07, 6/08, 13/08 and 20/08 from 10am to 12pm
Set off in search of hidden beacons in the Domaine de Chalain between lake and forest; a fun activity to enjoy with family or friends that lets you discover an unspoilt environment and connect with nature.
Bookings required for accompanied children aged 6 and over; €10 per adult and €5 per child.
